books!

Oh how I love books. Especially free ones. I end up with free or very cheap books on a regular basis and it makes me happy. Here at work, we have book sales for charities (i.e. Relay for Life, Toys for Tots, etc.) fairly frequently and I find a good bit of cool stuff. I found a Vincent Price biography at the last one. Anyways, we also have the 'free table' in the break room where people leave crap they don't want and it's fair game to anyone and yesterday I scored a copy of American Psycho. It's a trade paperback and in pretty good condition. And this morning a co-worker who is also interested in history brought me a book of British Literature from the Middle Ages to the 18th Century and a book on Modern Europe from the Renaissance to Present. The one on British Lit actually has quite a few epic poems and such that I've been wanting copies of like Beowulf and the Dream of the Rood. Yay! I'm a happy geek.
