I find it amusing that people are so defensive about politics. I was talking about Ministry's Rio Grande Blood and how it pretty much was tearing George W. apart and I made a comment about W. being an idiot because he couldn't even pronounce 'nuclear' correctly and I got snapped at for talking politics at work. Funny thing is, I did not so much as mention any of W's policies, anyone's political leanings, or my own views. I simply made a comment about W. being stupid because he couldn't pronounce words correctly and the assumption was automatically made that I was talking about his politics. I'm aware that he is, first and foremost, a politician but he is a person, nonetheless. I don't care if you're the President of the United States, the Pope, the Prime Minister, the head of the CIA, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Queen Elizabeth, or any other person of high regard, if you do/say something stupid, I'm probably not going to forgive it.
Case in point, W's pronunciation problems, Quayle's general stupidity, Prince Philip's 'slitty eyed' comment, Prince Harry's Nazi costume and various other 'oopses'. They're stupid comments have nothing to do with their politics. They're idiocy, pure and simple.
On the other hand, they're pretty damn funny sometimes. :-)

It's only because they as followers of the W messiah are as stupid as he.
